September: grapes harvest time in Ischia. Between the colours and the perfume of ripe grapes, this season is filled with the scent of must giving us breath-taking sensations! Not only wine: in September, the Feast of San Michele at Sant'Angelo is one of the most heartfelt in Ischia.

Dozens of boats follow San Michael Archangel while crossing from Punta Chiarito. Along the way, the saint is continuously welcomed by spectacular fireworks.

Beautiful hotel, ideally situated between the port and the castle. Fabulous views from our balcony of the Castella Aragonese. It is worth spending the extra for a Seaview room. The hotels level of cleanliness is very high. Wonderful attention to hygiene. Excellent bedroom and dining staff ensure that all your needs are met. Beautiful pool area and very well run. There is a quiet calm about the hotel which makes it very restful. The only small suggestion I would have is that there should be a greater variety of breakfast foods or at least alternating so that it is not identical every day. The bar area is under utilised and feels more like a waiting room. However, beach, bars and restaurants are all within a couple of minutes reach of the hotel. The reception staff are lovely, welcoming and supportive. Excellent hotel. I would recommend it to anyone and would gladly stay here again.
